Sustainable Properties was built from the ground up. In 2010, with no outside funding and no safety net, the company’s founder used his entire $23,000 401(k) to purchase a first multifamily property.

That first investment became the starting point for a company shaped by hands-on ownership. Every side of the work was learned firsthand: property operations, tenant and guest communication, maintenance coordination, renovations, budgeting, and the systems that help a property perform over time.

Since then, Sustainable Properties SD has grown into a forward-thinking real estate company serving owners, investors, and homeowners through short-, mid-, and long-term rental management, remodeling, project management, development, and real estate investment.

Sustainability has always been part of the approach, not an afterthought. We look for practical ways to improve comfort, durability, and efficiency. From thoughtfully repurposed materials to natural, lasting finishes and energy-smart upgrades.
